New Nikon D6 launched in India. It is the company’s latest flagship DSLR camera for professionals. The new Nikon camera packs a 20.8MP CMOS sensor and features a total of 105 autofocus (AF) points that are selectable and cross-type. This results in a 1.6x higher density of AF coverage in comparison to the Nikon D5 camera.

In addition to the updated camera, Nikon India also launched two new lenses such as the Nikkor Z 20mm an ultra-wide-angle prime lens, and the Nikkor Z 24-200mm zoom lens.

Nikon D6 Camera Price in India

Nikon D6 price in India has been at Rs. 5,19,995 (body-only). But there is no information about the Nikon D6 camera release date.

The Nikkor Z 20mm f/1.8 S lens priced at Rs 88,995 and Nikkor Z 24-200mm F/4-6.3 VR priced at Rs 70,995. These lenses expected to available for sale from April 2020.

Nikon D6 Features

New Nikon D6 Specifications includes a 20.8-MP CMOS sensor, which combined with all-selectable cross sensor 105-point AF. This camera supports an ISO sensitivity of 102400 for low-light situations, and the SnapBridge app to make transferring RAW files to smart devices easily.

The Expeed 6 image-processing engine helps in capturing high-resolution images with less noise, even at high ISO settings. It also helps to reproduce human skin in clarity. Additionally, the camera supports usage pf XQD and CFexpress memory cards with long battery life.

Nikon D6 camera connectivity options include in-built Wi-Fi and WT-6 transmitter (which ensures quicker and more versatile methods of uploading images) along with a port for wired LAN (which supports 1000BASE-T standard and achieves approximately 15% faster communication).

The company also announced the launch of new Nikkor Z series lenses such as Nikkor Z 20mm and Nikkor Z 24-200mm. These lenses allow shooting a great diversity of scenes, including landscapes, portraits, and close-ups.
