Google has updated its Contacts app to give you the contact information for people not saved in your Google account. However, this will only work when you search for a contact.
When user types in the search bar, it will show your saved contacts first and then the contacts from your other Google accounts. Tapping on them will give you more information by their associated account. Users can also save them to your address book as well.
You may previously access the “Other Contacts” by going to contacts.google.com/other. With this update, these contacts now are seen within the contacts app, which makes it a lot more useful. This update comes with Contacts app version 3.17.1, according to the Google Play Store changelog.
Android Police report that this feature is also available on app version 3.15.2. Now, users can download this app from the Google Play Store or get the APK from APK Mirror.
Gmail has had this feature forever where if you type out a contact name, it gives you the all related names associated with your Google accounts. It doesn’t matter when you last used that contact or when you got an mail from the account.
This Google Latest App lets you create a cloud backup of your contacts saved in your Google account. So, you can access them from any device. Further, you can organize into categories like work and personal. It also gives you an option to merge your duplicate accounts. If you have a device that runs Android Marshmallow or later, grabs the app from Google Play Store.
