Amazon has cut the Lexar Professional 633X 1 TB SDXC memory card cost in a standout storage offer from $400 to $279.
It’s the Cheapest Memory Card (1 TB) right now, comparing favorably to the $440 that the SanDisk Extreme 1 TB version costs the most affordable 1 TB microSD card. You can’t use an SDXC on your smartphone but you can on your camera and your laptop.
It still carries a premium over lower capacities. For example, the 128 GB version stands for just under $20.57% of its value per GB.

- And don’t forget your online backup. These are the best cloud storage for photos.
The card (officially known as the LSD128GCB1NL633) comes with a lifetime warranty (US-only) and 10 years of cover everywhere else. This card can withstand extreme temperatures and has a built-in write-protect to safeguard your content. But there’s no news if it is waterproof, shockproof and X-ray proof like some of its competitors.
The Lexar Professional is compatible with the new V30 speed class with a read speed of up to 95MBps and should record videos without a hitch at 4K.
There are several other major players currently selling 512 GB microSD cards, including the likes of Samsung, Kingston, PNY and Integral-but none have confirmed when a 1 TB version will be available.
For now, Micron and Sandisk are the only manufacturers to have already announced a 1TB microSD card with the former reportedly set to go on sale.
